Zombies are one of the most popular T-shirt designs. Not exactly at ours but when looking at emptees or similar T-shirt sites you really can get the impression. Undead people and their remarkable features (are hungry for human flesh and especially brains, walk slowly, are half decomposed, can be shot any time and fall apart to a bloody gore easily when hit) are an open invitation to play around with to create some funny, witty or just great designs.
What I hadn’t been aware of is that there actually is a Zombie Research Society, collecting all knowledge, media reports and related issues about zombies. Founded on the premise
The Zombie Pandemic is coming. It’s not a matter of if, but a matter of when.
you better inform yourself, since knowing your enemy is the first step to defeating him. Questions like “Why don’t zombies duck when you hit them?” or “How fast will infection spread?” are discussed on their blog on a scientific background. Better bookmark it to have a guide ready when the outbreak begins. Other than that they also cover zombies in pop culture like zombie merch products.
We’re happy to find our Zombie T-Shirt “Caution! Zombies!! Ahead!!!” covered there. In case you don’t know the story behind it: These words were shown on a hacked road sign in Austin, Texas last year. The idea to make a T-shirt out of that was born at OMGtees and we happily executed it. Plus, we chose our Glow-in-the-dark foil, because you never know … when zombies already overwhelmed the employees of your local power plant you can’t be sure there will be electricity. Keep this shirt ready to provide a visible warning for your fellow living humans.
